CCG Thanks Ambassador Muraru for Opening the Doors to the Romanian Delegation at AUSA 2026

·

Carstens Consulting Global Inc. (CCG) was proud to be one of the sponsors of the reception hosted by the AUSA Prince Cuza Chapter in Bucharest for the Romanian delegation to the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) National Meeting in Washington, D.C. The reception took place on October 14 at the residence of the Romanian Ambassador to the United States, and by every account it ended with a blowout.

CCG’s Founder and CEO, Col. (Ret.) David H. Carstens, extended his thanks to His Excellency Ambassador Andrei Muraru and the Romanian Embassy for graciously opening the residence to the Chapter and its guests. Among those in attendance were Lieutenant General (Ret.) Laura Potter, former Director of the U.S. Army Staff, and Lieutenant General Iulian Berdila, Romanian Deputy Chief of Defense. Seeing them side by side was a fitting picture of a Transatlantic partnership that cannot be broken.

After three days on the floor of the world’s largest landpower exposition with more than forty Romanian government leaders and industry representatives, Colonel Carstens came away with three conclusions:

  1. Romania is open for business.
  2. Romanian innovation and industrial will are tough to beat.
  3. Opportunities abound on the Eastern Front, where threats are knocking at the door of NATO.

Other sponsors of the evening include STARC4SYS, LUNOX HR International S.A., DriverAI, Capital Edge Consulting, and BTS. CCG also thanks Monica Eremia, the team at the U.S. Commercial Service, and the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest for their continued partnership with the AUSA Prince Cuza Chapter.

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Muraru set a mission for next year’s AUSA National Meeting: a Romanian booth on the floor of the Washington Convention Center. CCG’s answer was short and clear: challenge accepted.
